Individual Dental Plans
I offer 5 unique dental insurance policies for you to consider: Medico Life, PacificSource, and 3 plans offered through Regence. No 2 plans are alike.
Give me a call or email and we can discuss the pros and cons of the different options. For families, putting one spouse and child on PacificSource and the other spouse on Medico Life is the preferred moved. Of you have a child needing Orthodontics, consider the Regence Managed Care plan.
Plan #1 Medico Life
Dental, Vision, & Hearing Insurance in one policy.
FEATURES: Very reasonable premiums. Freedom to use your own dentist/providers. Flexible benefits with no waiting periods for many services. You must be over 18 to buy this plan. 10% discount if 2 people apply together. Choice of $1000 or $1500 policy-year annual maximum.
You pay a $100 policy-year deductible, then Medico pays 60% first year coverage for all services, increasing to 70% year two, then 80% after year three.
Pays up to $150 for vision exam and hardware after 6 months.
Dentures, major dental services, and hearing aids are covered at 70% after 12 months for existing hearing aids, no wait for new hardware.

Plan #2 PacificSource Elect Dental
FEATURES: 100% preventative coverage. Creditable coverage if you have exisiting dental coverage (no waiting periods for major services if you have prior coverage). Use your own dentist with a $50 deductible or an In-Network dentist with no deductible. With the Preferred Providers you only pay a contracted rate of service.

PLAN #3 REGENCE LIFE & HEALTH
Regence offers 3 plans to consider, which offer diverse options: The Dental 10, Dollar-Based, and Managed Care dental. If you are seeking child Orthodontics, the Managed Care plans has a lower cost ortho package with considering. Each plan is unique and worth discussing.

PLAN #4 Kaiser Individual Dental
In many ways this is the best of all the plans: No waiting periods, No maximum they payout, most services covered 75%. If you need work done now, this is definitely the best plan....however, you must have an individual medical Kaiser plan to apply.
So...you can apply for the medical coverage and dental, then if you later drop the medical, you can keep the dental. That is the path to signing up on this excellent plan. If you'd like to discuss this more feel free to call me and I can email you brochure on the plan.

CAN'T AFFORD ANY OF THESE PLANS?
